In addition to making a reproduction of the 1883 issue 50¢, Sperati made at least eleven types of "Inter-Island Postage" numeral issue reproductions. The Sperati I listings were based on the Sperati negatives that were probably all used. Finished reproductions have been reported for types A (unused and with forged cancel), F and G. The genuine stamps were typeset and these reproductions were produced by photo-lithography and lack the characteristic "bite" of typeset stamps.

The Sperati I listings were based on having seen only Sperati negatives. The only examples actually seen as stamp reproductions are types A, F and G (Type A is the only one known with a forged cancel). They report types C, D, E, and F and existing in proof form. See Sperati I, page 199 for a listing of the negatives known at date of publication.

The Sperati I type designations are retained below but the order of presentation has been changed here for ease of use. Plate and position numbers listed are from Sperati I based on outdated Crocker followed by the better Westerberg designations.

1. there is a small notch on top side of top frameline above the left "5" of "50"

2. there is a flaw on the left side of the second "A" of "HAWAII"
