1870 Issue 3r

Sperati made reproductions of the 1870 issue 3r in a single type. The negative is dated January 1945. Everything about these reproductions was made by Sperati and the cancels are forged.

1. there is a flaw through the center of the loop of the "R" and a defect in the background between this letter and the "E" in "REPUBLICA"

2. the "A" of "REPUBLICA" is oddly deformed at foot

3. in "PARAGUAY" there is a horizontal line projecting from the lower loop of the "P " and there is a white flaw in the middle of the "U"

4. the shaft held by the lion is broken just below the line of the horizon.
