Sperati made reproductions of five of the early Romanian stamps. Everything about them was made by Sperati including the laid paper on the 180p and 10b reproductions.

1. there is a break in outer circle at 5 o'clock

2. there is a white spot on the posthorn below the numeral "8"

1. there is a dent in top frame above the "A" of "PAR"

2. there is a dot below the "G" of "GAZETTEI"

1. there is a constant smudge of color in margin above the stamp impression

2. the "C" of inscription at right is incomplete at foot

1. there is a dot of color above the serif of right hand "1" of "10"

2. there is a double break in the foot of the "S" of "POSTA"

(no finished reproduction was known in Sperati I)

1. there is a dot of blue color above the top right corner

2. there is a break in the inner frameline below the "50" at right
